The Centre for Software Practice began in
Perth in June 2005 as RapunzelWeb, a small group put together by
director David Glance to deliver web-based
solutions for the education sector.
From its small beginnings in UWA’s Winthrop Tower
RapunzelWeb rapidly grew, producing cutting edge and efficient
applications, expanding to both web and print design, and being
dedicated to the passing on of
knowledge through offering practicum
opportunities to students. In 2006 RapunzelWeb’s efforts
and dedication were recognized by the university and officially
became the Centre for Software Practice.
Today the Centre is staffed by UWA graduates and students
bringing innovative ideas and enthusiasm to every project that is
taken on. At the launch for the GSMHN
